Believe it or not, this year we are writing this traditional blog post well in advance! Winter sales 2023 are in fact just about to begin and we can’t way for them. In Milan they will start at the end of this week, on the 5^th of January 2023, and they will last till the middle of February 2023.

Kids fashion is always ready to roar! In fact, animalier is a steady trend in kids’ fashion both winter and summer! So, why not to take advantage of the winter sales 2023 and buy an item that will never become unfashionable? Whether it is leopard print, zebra print, python print, or a delightful mashup matters little. For our winter sales purchases, we have chosen this amazing leopard print beige coat for from Monnalisa. Winter sales 2023: what to buy kids fashion – a velvet item

In this winter 2023’s collections one material stood out as a clear favourite amongst designers: velvet. Soft and silken, buttery and plush velvet is a unique material! Now. since looking for a garment that respects the diktat is an imperative to approach the winter’s sales, we have selected one of them. An amazingly romantic dark green velvet dress by Eirene. It has delicate ivory lace trims on the collar and cuffs, along with a pearl brooch and sparkling waistband.

Viva Magenta is Pantone color of the year 2023 and it will be a trend in kids fashion

Pantone has recently revealed the Color of the Year 2023: Viva Magenta. Viva Magenta is a vivid, bright shade belonging to the red family with hints of pink and purple. A crimson red nuance that presents a balance between warm and cool. We really like it and we can’t wait to see how it will be reflected into this year fashion. So, if you want to get ahead on a year filled with Viva Magenta, the winter 2023 sales are right time to get your shop on. Perhaps some of what you’ll find will not be 100% Viva Magenta … but we are sure it will do. If it were up to us, we would buy this stylish hooded coat from the Italian brand il Gufo.

Teddy Bear mania 2023: the must buy during this season

Is there something more welcoming than a warm hug? Most kids love hugging and cuddling up the stuffed animals of their heart which, more often than not, are teddy bears.  So why not wear them? Knitted or printed, embroidered or sticked, sparkling in rhinestones or soft and fluffy 3D appliques, teddy bears are everywhere this season. Monnalisa in particular, has dedicated an entire line to our childhood companion. We immediately fell in love with it and we really liked the Teddy Bear bag that you see with Alice in the photos below.

Winter sales 2023: kids fashion to buy – a timeless piece

The cotton cardigan is unquestionably a timeless piece that can easily be worn all year-round. You might argue that it can be used mainly in casual occasion, and we would not disagree, but at the end of the day those are the more common ones! At least for us. Because just about everyone loves cotton cardigans, the options available are seemingly endless (which is both a blessing and a curse). Having said that, we must confess that we have an absolute favourite – and if you follow us on our socials, you might have already guessed it. The girls wear them all the time! The Ralph Lauren Mini-Cable Cotton Cardigan! We have them ranging from 12 months to 16 years, in at least 3 colours and mom has bought more during her last trip to the USA. Ah! Ah!

The dress we choose from fall winter 2022/2023? It is by Guess Kids

The dress we have chosen this season combines two trends for fall winter 2022/2023 (and not only): animalier print and sustainable by design. It is a beige leopard print satin dress characterised by an elasticated waistband and long sleeves with button-fastening cuffs and it is fully lined in chiffon crêpe. Good to know is that it is made from Repreve® recycled plastic bottles! We already have it for Aurora (see here) and we are planning to buy it for Alice too!
