If you are one of our regular readers, you should already know that we usually spend the first week of the year at the beach. In particular, on the Red Sea and, in the last three years, in the same location: Berenice. We love the place for the pristine beaches with the inevitable pink crabs, for the richness in marine life (this year we have also seen the majestic Dugong!) and for the peace that reigns supreme. This winter break is particularly dear to us as we get to spend some quality time all together. Our dad works in France and he usually spends only the weekends with us! Needless to say, we had an amazing time. Curious? You can still see it in our highlight stories on Instagram.

We’ve been meaning to shoot in this glimpse of the beach for a long time, but for a reason or another we have never made it! In the end, this year we did it and here is the result. We decided to work on the pics applying in post a light sepia filter. This gives them an aspect more fitting to the desert setting and to the natural light of the place.

In fact, this season Stella Mccartney Kids has introduced its first-ever festive capsule designed for the holiday season. To celebrate every occasion with sophisticated styles to date, crafted from both elevated and conscious materials. This is in line with the brand’s DNA. Alice’s dress is characterised by a pleated design made from a gold silk blend lamé. It features a pointed skirt and a poncho top that zips at the back. For this shooting, we have styled it with a white Egyptian handmade crochet headdress, in cotton and lurex blend, with the insertion of gold coins, beads and fringes.
