On the London Eye in Florens boots
Alice and Aurora on the London Eye during our long weekend in London
After the pandemic our perspective on various things has radically changed! Among them is certainly travelling. We decided to travel as much as possible, managing our holidays according to the motto: “Life is short, and the world is wide”. So, this autumn, after a weekend in Paris (you can see it here). We spent the long weekend of the Saints in Padua (still work in progress). Then, the holidays of Saint Ambrose and of the Immaculate Conception in London!
Except for the six hours in the summer on our way back to Italy from the English Summer Camp in Bournemouth, we hadn’t been to London for about three years (see it here). Needless to say: we really missed it! We realised we didn’t remember how beautiful it is and how many things there are to see.
As our regular readers know, we are the “holiday in apartment” type of family. Thus, we rented a flat in Camden Town and we used that as a base to visit the city. We followed a four-day schedule mixing outdoor and indoor activities in a way that was not too tyring for the girls (Aurora in particular!). If you are curious, you can find a preview on Instagram (see “London 2022” highlight), otherwise you can wait for the blog post. We promise, it will not be long!
Alice and Aurora on the London Eye in Florens boots
Since Aurora has been asking for months, we organised the ride on the London Eye during the first day. Even though we had already ridden on the Millennium Wheel, the view of the city, Westminster and Big Ben is so extraordinary that we would ride on again and again! Also, it is such a lovely mechanical piece of art designed that we decided to take some pics.
Alice and Aurora outfits on the London Eye
In these pictures, Alice and Aurora wear two matching outfits from Guess Kids Fall Winter 2022/2023 collection. Alice wears a beige leopard print sweater dress, with a black and white logo trim along the hem and ribbed trims to help keep warmth in. Aurora wears a beige leopard print satin dress characterised by an elasticated waistband and long sleeves with button-fastening cuffs and it is fully lined in chiffon crêpe – this is available also for girls. An interesting thing to know is that it is made from Repreve® recycled plastic bottles!
Both girls wear a pair of boots from Italian brand Florens. Alice wears a pair of black leather beatles boots with a a shocking pink strap (perfectly matching the London Eye color – ah ah) and leopard inserts on the back. Aurora wears a pair of black leather biker boots and rubber sole of the same color characterised by a bow on the back that gives a romantic touch.
You can find Aurora’s Florens boots with bow here.

We completed Alice’s look with Illytrilly made-in-Italy faux fur earmuffs characterised by two adorable synthetic suede bows on the sides.
We thank Florens for Alice’s and Aurora’s stunning boots from Florens fall winter 2022/2023 collection. Thanks also to Guess kids for Alice’s and Aurora’s dresses and to Illytrilly for Alice’s earmuffs.
